No Ordinary Criminal

finalproblem:

Picking up the theory trail where we left off: I don’t think Jim, Sherlock, Sherlock’s friends, or Mycroft are behind the video that appeared all over the country at the end of His Last Vow.

So who was? I’m gonna have to go with Moran. And not just any Moran…

…but the guy who was already in the show as a villain named Moran. (I honestly don’t know whether it’s sad or hilarious that we’ve reached a point where that’s a fringe theory, but here we are all the same.)

Let’s do a motive, means, and opportunity rundown.

But wait… if the reason Moran played the “Miss Me?” video was to bring Sherlock back, how could he have known things would play out like they did? If this plan was in place since The Empty Hearse at latest (in which Moran planned to have civilian surveillance bill passed), at that point (during TEH), how would he have known that he needed to get Sherlock back when the events that led to his exile hadn’t happened yet? How could he have known what would go down with Magnussen and Sherlock? This isn’t an attack on your theory, I’m seriously curious and want to see what you think.

hey so you should really take down the vine about the "troye do you want dinner?" thing. it's really fucked up and that's bullying man. the girl is like nine years old and the more I see this floating around tumblr, and vine, and facebook, and twitter; the more respect I lose for you. you're my favorite youtuber and I know you didn't mean to offend anyone. but you are and you're bullying a little kid and letting thousands of people bully her too. as a huge fan, you just let me down.

troyesivan answered:

Hey Fiona,

I’m really sorry you were offended by it. I gave it some thought before i posted it, and decided that it was the way she said ‘yes’ that was funny to me. It had nothing to do with the way she looked, or her story or anything. I do genuinely think I would have made the vine using anyone as a reaction (as me - ‘Troye, do you want some dinner?’. I wasn’t asking the girl, i was asking myself, you know?) no matter how they looked. Though all that justified the vine to me in the moment, and i know (and i hope you do too!) that my intentions were not malicious at all, knowing her story and stuff, in hindsight, i think you’re absolutely right. It was insensitive and i was wrong. Again, i’m sorry! It’s been deleted off everywhere it can be.

Thanks for letting me know, means a lot to know you have my back!
